3. How We Use Your Information

The anonymous data we collect is used exclusively for the following purposes:

We do not use the data for advertising, profiling, or selling to third parties.

4. Third-Party Services

LaliMath uses the following third-party services. Each has its own privacy policy which governs how they process data on our behalf:

Google Firebase Analytics

Provided by Google LLC. Used to collect anonymous usage events (see Section 2). Firebase does not link events to a specific user identity in our configuration. Firebase may collect a random app-instance identifier to aggregate data.

Firebase Privacy Policy →

Google Firebase Crashlytics

Provided by Google LLC. Used to capture crash reports. Crashlytics assigns a random installation UUID to group crashes from the same device without identifying the person using it.

Firebase Privacy Policy →

Both services are operated by Google LLC, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA. Google acts as a data processor on our behalf under a Data Processing Agreement (DPA) that includes Standard Contractual Clauses for transfers outside the EEA.

We do not use any other third-party SDKs, advertising networks, or analytics providers.

5. Data Retention

Anonymous analytics events are retained in Firebase for 14 months (Firebase's default rolling window), after which they are automatically deleted.

Crash reports are retained for 90 days in Firebase Crashlytics.

Because we do not collect personal data that is linked to you, there is no individual record to delete upon request — the data cannot be attributed back to any person.

6. Children's Privacy (COPPA & GDPR-K)

LaliMath is an educational app intended for use by children aged 5 and above, typically under parental supervision. We take children's privacy extremely seriously.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The app requires no account, no login, and no input of any personal information whatsoever.

With respect to applicable law:

If you believe we have inadvertently collected personal information about a child, please contact us immediately at adrian@familylabsoftware.com and we will take steps to delete it.

7. Your Rights

Under GDPR (EU/EEA residents)

As a data controller established in Romania (an EU member state), we comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679. Because we do not process personal data that is linked to you, most GDPR rights apply in a limited way. However, you have the right to:

Under CCPA (California residents)

We do not sell personal information. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising. California residents have the right to know what personal information is collected and to request deletion — but since we do not collect personal information linked to you, there is nothing to disclose or delete.

Opt-out of analytics

You can limit data collection at the OS level:

8. Data Security

All data transmitted to Firebase is encrypted in transit using TLS. Firebase stores data in Google's infrastructure, which maintains industry-standard security certifications (ISO 27001, SOC 2, SOC 3).

The app itself does not store any data locally beyond the operating state needed to render the current worksheet (which is never transmitted anywhere).

9. International Data Transfers

Firebase services are operated by Google LLC in the United States. Anonymous analytics data may therefore be transferred to and stored in the USA. This transfer is covered by Google's Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) under Article 46 GDPR, ensuring an adequate level of protection.

You can review Google's data transfer mechanisms at firebase.google.com/support/privacy.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, if changes are material, notify users through the App Store update notes.

Your continued use of LaliMath after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
